Next, try to remove the household items like furniture or furnishings. Removing them will help you save them from the damage. Cover the furniture with plastic sheets.

Try to remove the excess water by putting the hose inside the kitchen sink. If the water passes easily, put the hose to its place. If you find a leak in the hose, change it immediately.

• Make sure you load the dishes in the dishwasher properly. The appliance will malfunction if the dishes are loaded in an improper manner.
• Use a good brand of detergent. Do not overload the appliance by using excessive detergent. Excessive detergents can block the hose.
• Tighten the door before you run the appliance. If you still find water leaking, then it is time to change the door gasket.
